Slowly but surely, Spenderella is transforming into Saverella and the one thing that will keep me on track to financial freedom will be to regularly post net worth updates. Can you believe the last one is from June last year? Last year was discouraging and once that set in, I lost sight of certain goals but a few little kicks in my arse set me straight. Like what? Like, going into a bank looking the part of a wealthy person but in reality having little assets to back me up. Hence, my first target of $100K net worth. Next up was realizing I’ll be 40 next year with not much financially to show for it. I CANNOT turn 40 and have this crazy financial situation hanging over me anymore. End.Of.Story.
Net worth as of 03/09/15 $23,874.01
*Note: this does not include my car, as I don’t consider it an asset. I consider it a rolling money pit.
This is an increase of $4,066.30 since Jan 1st 2015. Not too shabby! Heading in the right direction indeed. Bibbity bobbity boo and I’m off to a great start for the first quarter of 2015.
